Meet Vadim
I’ve been a proud resident of Mountain View for many years and am the parent of two students in the MVLA school district. My passion for education runs deep, and I have been actively involved as a volunteer in our schools and the local community. With an MS in Computer Science, I work as a senior software engineer at leading Bay Area companies, where I’ve had the privilege of mentoring many fresh graduates and interns. I have also led initiatives that empower individuals from non-traditional educational backgrounds to pursue fulfilling careers in software development.
Outside of my professional life, I am deeply passionate about water polo, music, and art. I believe strongly in the transformative power of extracurricular activities to foster children’s confidence and growth. My commitment is to ensure that our high schools are inspiring and supportive environments where students can thrive, laying the foundation for lifelong success.
Why I'm Running
I’m running for the MVLA Board of Trustees because I believe in the strength of our schools and want to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive—academically, emotionally, and socially. Education should be safe, inclusive, and equitable, where teachers feel empowered and students are given the resources to succeed beyond the classroom. My vision is to close the achievement gap and prepare students for life after high school, whether that’s college, vocational training, or the workforce. I respectfully ask for your support and vote to help create a brighter future for all.
